Dallas "Bud" Bolen

Greensburg- Dallas “Bud” Bolen, 74, passed away December 9, 2023, at Kiowa County Memorial Hospital, Greensburg, Kansas. He was born March 15, 1949, in Newton, Kansas to Dallas and Helen Bolen. Bud graduated in 1968 and retired from Metro Trucking in 2016. He and his wife Linda moved to a small ranch where he enjoyed coffee drinking, story telling, Ditch Farming and checking cattle with his dog Thelma Lou.

 Bud is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda, sons D J Salmans, Bel Aire, Kansas and Jory Buller, Wichita, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Johnnie and Warren Bolen.

 A celebration of Bud’s life is planned after the holidays. Memorials are suggested to the Mullinville Church of Christ, Kiowa County Memorial Hospital, and the Kiowa County Senior Center, all in care of Fleener Funeral Home, PO Box 41, Greensburg, Kansas 67054.
