Jeanene Fast

Halstead- Jeanene Fast, 73, died November 11, 2013 at South Wind Hospice House, Pratt, Kansas. She was born May 24, 1940 in Turlock, California, the daughter of Vern Emery and Inez Fern (McMullen) Woodward. She was a material handler and had worked for Cessna Aircraft and Kodak Company. Jean had lived in Windsor, Colorado, Haviland and Halstead, Kansas. She is survived by two daughters Jana Bohling, Halstead and Jody Schneider, St. George, Kansas, four Grandchildren- Alexi Bohling, Blake Bohling, Baylor Bohling, and Ryan Schneider, one brother R.D. Woodward, Larned, two sisters Janette Clemensen and Dixie Woodward, both of Haviland, two nieces Desiree Crisp and husband David, Douglass, Kansas and Jeana Clark and husband Cletis, Haviland. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Vic Clemensen. Funeral Service and Celebration of Jean’s life will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Haviland United Methodist Church, Haviland, with Pastor David Crisp officiating. Burial will follow in the Haviland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to South Wind Hospice House in care of Fleener Funeral Home, 514 S. Main St., Greensburg, Kansas, 67054.
