Jerry Lynn Freeman

Greensburg- Jerry Lynn Freeman, 81, died March 21, 2024, at Kiowa County Memorial Hospital, Greensburg, Kansas. He was born January 6, 1943, in Syracuse, Kansas, the son of Lawson and Opal (Smith) Freeman. Jerry grew up in Greensburg, graduating from Greensburg High School in 1961, and had lived in Southern California, and Greensburg since 2007. While in California Jerry was a window and door salesman. He is survived by a son Shawn Freeman, Portland, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his father Lawson Freeman, his mother Opal Askins and stepfather Walter Askins. A memorial graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 13, 2024, in Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg. Fleener Funeral Home, Greensburg are handling arrangements.
