Kevin Eugene Smith

Greensburg – Kevin Eugene Smith, 55, died August 31, 2026, at his home in Greensburg, Kansas, He was born July 28, 1971, in Liberal, Kansas, the son of Kenny Eugene and Louvernia “Tootie” (Woodward) Smith. Kevin graduated from Greensburg High School in 1989. He was a truck driver hauling mostly cattle, crude oil and ammonia. He had lived in several western Kansas communities, including Sublette, Kansas, Oakley, Kansas since 2011, returning to Greensburg in 2025. Kevin attended the Lighthouse Worship Center, Greensburg. He is survived by two sons Keenan Smith, Greensburg, Kendrick Smith (Shanley), Florence, South Carolina, a daughter Kelsey Plummer (Bryant), Colby, Kansas, and four grandchildren Charles, Harlan, Robert and Carter. He was preceded in death by his parents Kenny Smith and Tootie Parkin, a brother Allen Davis and a sister Margene Davis. A time of sharing memories and celebration of Kevin’s life will be held 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the Lighthouse Worship Center, 804 W. Wisconsin. Greensburg, Kansas.
