Michael Dean Martin

Peck, Kansas- Michael Dean Martin, 68, died December 20, 2021 at his home. He was born February 19, 1953 in Greensburg, Kansas, the son of Elton C. and Doris Velma (Miller) Martin. Michael Dean had lived in Mullinville, Kansas and Peck. He graduated from Mullinville High School in 1971 and completed Auto Mechanic Vo-Tech in Dodge City, Kansas. He was a Machinist / Mechanic and Race Car Driver. On December 31, 1990, Michael Dean married Patty Chambers in Wichita, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include one brother Terry L. Martin and wife Sherry, Garden City, Kansas, a sister Kay Rose and husband John, Mullinville, and several nephews and nieces and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Robert Martin in 1969. Graveside services and celebration of Michael Dean’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021, in Hillcrest Cemetery, Mullinville. Viewing will be 1:30-2:00 prior to the service.
