Paul Leon Binford

Haviland- Paul Leon Binford, 90, died April 12, 2026, at the Hill Top House, Bucklin, Kansas. He was born October 12, 1935, in rural Haviland, Kansas, the son of Earnest Charles and Myrtle Effie May (Ross) Binford. He attended Friends Academy and Friends Bible College in Haviland. Paul was a dairyman, farmer, and a member of the Haviland Friends Church, Haviland. Paul, an avid sports fan, was a high school basketball and football referee in central and southwest Kansas for 34 years. Paul is survived by a son Kent Binford (Lori), Haviland, a daughter Karen Loesch (Delmar), Booker, Texas, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, a twin sister Pauline Busby, Wichita, Kansas, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandson David Loesch and a great-grandson Beckham Binford. Memorial services and celebration of Paul’s life will be 1:30 pm Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the Haviland Friends Church with Pastor Todd Follette officiating.
