Paul Wayne Hayse

Mullinville- Paul Wayne Hayse, 74, died December 18, 2018 at his home South of Mullinville, Kansas. He was born February 28, 1944 in Dodge City, Kansas, the son of Nathan Berkley and Helen Lucille (Alford) Hayse. Paul graduated from Mullinville High School in 1962 and from Kansas State University in 1966 with dual degree’s in Ag Econ and Animal Husbandry. A lifetime resident of Mullinville, he was a farmer and rancher and was recently recognized as a fifty year member of the Kansas Livestock Association. Paul is survived by a son Theron Hayse and wife Melissa, Garden City, Kansas, three Grandchildren Ashley Crill and husband Brandyn, Prescott, Iowa, and Alex and Alyson Hayse, Tallahassee, Florida, three Great-grandchildren Hunter, Harley and Sidney Crill, two sisters Georgiana Bradshaw, Dodge City, and Fran Zerby, Manhattan, Kansas, six nieces and nephews Katy (John) Bechtold, Gidget (Odie) Lehman, Lori (Chad) Moore, Teresa (Chris) Atkins, Evan (Lydia) Zerby and Terry (Angie) Bradshaw. He was preceded in death by a son William Nathan Hayse, a sister Melva Bernard, a nephew Christopher Bradshaw and two brother-in-law’s Joe Zerby and Bill Bradshaw. A memorial service will be held at a later date with inurnment in Hillcrest Cemetery, Mullinville.
