Phil Baker

Haviland- Phil Baker, 77, died February 12, 2017 at the Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born January 12, 1940 the son of Clarence Paris and Gretchen (Bowlin) Baker. He was a farmer and lifetime resident of Haviland, Kansas. Phil graduated from Cullison High School in 1958. On September 8, 1963 Phil married Carol Greenstreet in Pratt, Kansas. She survives. He is also survived by two sons Bruce and wife Sharon Baker, Pratt and Chris and wife DeAnn Baker, Larned, and six grandchildren, Katelyn Baker and Justin Baker, Larned, Brandon Depenbusch, Great Bend, Kansas, Amber Depenbusch, Pratt, Sonya Britt, Manhattan, Kansas and Lacey Depenbusch, Hutchinson. A funeral service and celebration of Phil’s life will be held 10:30a.m. Wednesday, Feb 15, 2017 at the Haviland United Methodist Church, Haviland with Pastor Mark Fillmore presiding. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Cullison. Friends may view and sign the book 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Fleener Funeral Home, Greensburg, Kansas, however family will not be present.
