Greensburg- Romona C. Kendall, 76, died July 17, 2021 at the Kiowa County Memorial Hospital, Greensburg, Kansas, She was born February 20, 1945 in Dodge City, Kansas, the daughter of Emory Carson and Lela “Jessie” Ethelene (Ramsey) Lawson. She had lived in Bucklin, Ellis, Kinsley, Lewis and Greensburg, Kansas. Romona attended Greensburg High School. She had worked as a cashier at the Lewis Grocery Store and was a homemaker / mother and caregiver to her parents many years. On November 27, 1966, Romona married Sam Kendall in Clinton, Oklahoma. She is survived by a step-son Michael Scott, Lewis Kansas, three sons Monty Kendall and wife Tammy, Mark Kendall, all of Lewis, Mick Kendall and wife Melinda, Greensburg, seven Grandchildren Anthony Kendall and wife Amanda, Drew Harp, Alexis Harp, Cole Kendall, Mackenzie Wertz and husband Blaine, Peyton Kendall and Kylee Kendall and six Great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents and a brother Eldon Lawson. Funeral Services and Celebration of Romona’s life will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 23, 2021 at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Nick Sterner presiding. Burial Will Follow in Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg. Fleener Funeral Home, Greensburg in charge of the arrangements.
