Shari Mcafee

Haviland- Sharolyn Joyce “Shari” McAfee, 73, died December 7, 2022, at Grand Plains Skilled Nursing and Rehab., Pratt, Kansas. She was born August 31, 1949, in Pratt, Kansas, the daughter of Delbert A. and Lucy Mae (Lyon) Meireis. Shari was a lifetime resident of Haviland, Kansas. She graduated from Friends Academy in 1967. Shari had worked for Haviland Telephone Company, Barclay College and was the clerk for the City of Haviland. She was a member of the Haviland Friends Church, Haviland. On December 21, 1968, Shari married Terry McAfee at Haviland. He survives. Other survivors include one daughter Jennifer Lee and husband Kevin, Rose Hill, Kansas, three Grandchildren Nathan Lee, Hannah Lee and Jessa Lee, a sister Loudell Stanfield and Husband Ted, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and many friends. Memorial services and celebration of Shari’s life will be held 10:30 am Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the Haviland Friends Church with Pastors Tom Harrison and Todd Follette presiding.
