Sharon Ann Adams

Greensburg- Sharon Ann Adams, 75, died October 11, 2015 at Via Christi- St. Francis Hospital. She was born March 8, 1940 in Ashland, Kansas the daughter of Leroy Arthur and Dorothy Lee (Basnett) Deewall. Sharon graduated from Coldwater High School in 1958 and attended Fort Hays State College and Wichita Business College. She had lived in Coldwater, Hutchinson and Greensburg. She was a farm wife and commercial cook. On March 21, 1960 Sharon married Gary Wayne Adams in Greensburg. He preceded her in death February 10, 2001. She is survived by two sons Brian Adams and wife Susan, Inman, Kansas, Brent Adams and wife Sandi, Medicine Lodge, Kansas, a daughter Lesa Peroutek and husband Jim, Esbon, Kansas, seven Grandchildren Jennifer Williams and husband Mikel, Shawn Adams and wife Kayla, Logan Adams, Clayton Adams, Tanner Peroutek, Alli Adams and friend Alex, and Taneile Peroutek, eight Great-grandchildren, two sisters Sondra Stull, Folsom, California, and Virginia McPhail and husband Cliff, Cimarron, Kansas. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her mother and father-in-law Carl and Nina Adams. Funeral services and Celebration of Sharon’s life will be 10:30 am Friday, October 16, 2015 with Pastor Terry Mayhew officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg. A visitation will be held 5-7 pm Thursday at Fleener Funeral Home, Greensburg.
